Hi from England,

This could be a Joseph Highams model.
I have a 5 valve euphonium made by them in 1891.
The address was 127 Strangeways, Manchester.
The prison ( still there ) is also called Strangeways.
They were leading makers of their day and supplied the famous Black Dyke
Mills Band with a full set at one time.
They were also the first instrument company to offer their instruments
alongside prizes at contests.
They ceased trading around 1930.
Regards, Charley
Euphonium, BBC Wind Band London.
