Furthermore, when my parents bought me my tubas (mirafone 186-4 and Hisbrunner 21) I was required to pay 'as much as possilbe' on both of these. Fortunately for me, my school awards cash awards for academic stuff, and I did odd jobs everywhere, including being my grandmothers yard slave. After I showed my parents that i was willing to work for these horns, they *somewhat* willingly helped me out in the purchase.
*story* when I got my mirafone, I was showing it to one of the other tuba players in the band and she asked what model it was and I said, it's a 186-4U, and she was like, for me!.... anyway...
