Tuba Tiger Rag
Hindemith's Symphonic Metamorphosis (arranged for band by Keith Wilson)
Malcom Arnold's English Dances Set II has a nice tuba part (esp. the last mvt.)
Circus Marches (there are a bunch of them)

The problem with some of these pieces and the kind of music listed above is that its on the more difficult side of band music which means that you have to already have some pretty good tuba players, which you may or may not have in your younger groups. I'm sure that I have left out tons of great pieces that have good tuba parts, but thats a start.
