The high school I go to only has one band and we have two tuba players in it. Myself and another. Last year to keep us from griping about having lame and easy parts he our band director gave us cheerleading and colorguard catalogues to look through during band so we didn't get bored. Try giving them something to do during the band rehearsal :)
