I just see so many people talk ONLY about the Willson for new Eb tubas. There are other good front action Eb tubas out there. No, I have not played the Willson Eb and maybe I would like it. However, I have played the CC and BBb Willsons' and although they were good, it just is'nt my sound. I have heard many players play the Willson3400, and I'm just not crazy about the sound. I know, I know... you're going to tell me to play it for myself and I should. It is a fine horn, but it still has the "Willson" sound (which is a good sound, but not for me) no matter who plays it. I am very picky about sound, and it is the most important aspect of a horn, in my book.
