If there were millions and millions of tubas sold each year, wouldn't that mean that we would be just a dime a dozen instead of the rare and badly needed commodity that we are? Shouldn't we put up with the high price because it really means that we're wonderful and appreciated? What do you mean, fantasy?

What if bands were half tubas? What if there were tuba players on every corner? What if tubas were so common that they were occasionally used as flower planters? What do you mean, this happens already?
