I think you are pretty accurate in your estimates. Of the F tubas on my bench in the last couple of months, the Kurath was a rather large F as was the Willson and the Mirafone 181. They all seem to be in-between the sizes of the 4/4 and 5/4 Rudolf Meinl F's. The Rudi 5/4 F sitting in my shop now makes the Mirafone 184 CC sitting beside it look really tiny! It is truly as large as, or larger than most 3/4 CC tubas.
