I got to play this tuba at Dave Fedderly's shop a couple days ago. WOW. It lives up to the hype and then some. I was a little bummed that I didn't get to try one at ITEC, but there is an excellent one in Baltimore now. It's so easy to control and the sound is HUGE. I actually started speaking in broken german!
seriously, if you are looking for a professional BBb for use in large ensembles, this should be a tuba you consider very seriously.
