I think that Spirit from JSU, the drum corp, uses these for their marching contrabasses. With all that a horn endures from drum corps (changing environments, sweat, dents, continual application of polish, etc. etc.), They must hold up very well.
Just Some information you might want to know about, even though I have not played one and I cannot give an opinion. :-\
