Just to clarify, my PT-6P has almost no tuning problems (maybe I move the first valve slide a total of 1" (+/- 1/2") over the entire range of the horn), although I will probably end up cutting the main tuning slide down about 3/4" and the fifth valve slide 1/2". Another PT-6P, which was passed up in favor of the one I bought, sounded just as good, but a couple of notes were noticeably out of tune.
