I own both of the R&S heavyweight version mouthpieces and these things are no gimmick. I suggest you try them out for yourself and see. They definitely warrant serious consideration. One of the strengths of this mouthpiece is that it adds alot of core and projection to the sound. My guess is that if you are already playing a Helleberg mouthpiece, you would notice the difference between that and the heavyweight instantly. I did a side-by-side comparison myself and the results were obvious. Try one out and see for yourself. Good luck!
