Hetman's is a synthetic that doesn't clash with the petroleum based oils. It can work with both synthetic oils and petroleum based oils. It is being proven in my hornm right now. I use Al Cass and Hetman's. I almost exclusively ose Hetman's now, but I had no adverse effects to the Al Cass during the switchover.
