Thanks Dale, that clears up the Monster question, however I am afraid I was not clear on the other part. I am aware of aesthetic differences between 4/4 and 5/4 horns of various makes and models, but as I am not trying to choose between them, my question is purely academic. Let me try an analogy: If a car with 2 doors is a coupe, then one with 4 is a sedan. Does it follow that a horn with a .650 bore and a 15" bell is a 4/4 and one with a .720 bore and a 20" bell is a 5/4? I am looking for data here, not opinions. BTW, you were right about the archive search, there are plenty of entries, although not what I am looking for.
