One of my students recently told me about a reggae tuba band that he saw on a trip to Jamaica. He has a tendency to bend the truth a little, but I am still curious as to if there is such a think, because its quite an interesting concept. As a fan of Island music, and as a tuba player and teacher, this seems like a great idea, and if nobody has heard of this group, I might just start a Reggae tuba ens. myself! Does anyone know of such a band, and/or other tuba ensembles interesting styles of music?
