It'd be WAY more work than just making your own conical tubing and bending it. Aside from the obvious problems (annealing the sousaphone bows without opening the seams), the real obstacle would be pouring the lead (or pitch) into an already bent bow, filling it *completely*, so as not to trap any bubbles. If there are an bubbles, the pipe will kink at the first attempt at bending. Much better to either do what Joe says (scavenge on eBay), or make your own conical pipe and bend it yersef...
