Hello,

I have been using a large F tuba for the last few years for all of my playing. I am going to be purchasing a big CC to go along with it. I have been told by a few people that my sound on the F is more like that of a 4/4 CC rather than an F. The question I have, is what can I do to get the "traditional" sound that I need to have. Any recordings that would be helpful or tips would really help me out. I use two real deep cup mouthpieces, should I switch to a different smaller or bowl shaped mouthpiece? I like my sound on my F, but now that I will have horns to handle different scenarios I would like to make the next step as a musician. Thank you for your patience.
