These posts always interest me. What seems to be implied is that it has to be written for X,Y and Z instruments or it can't be played. Well, you can play all kinds of stuff. Go buy almost any piano plus two instruments trio and copy/transpose/change register/rewrite it and see if it works. If not, you're out a few bucks. If so, then you've just added to your repertoire.
Don't be affraid to spend a little time with a pencil and a pad of manuscript paper. You'll learn alot about music.
