Hehehehe, what is it about Louie, Louie and tuba players? During highchool we also played Louie, Louie ALOT until my senior year when I finally agreed to play the sousaphone for marching band (instead of trumpet) and that's when our director decided to cut Louie, Louie from the program. Well, that was no good, so my fellow sousaphoner (and continued partner in crime) and I decided to play it ourselves. Since I knew the melody from trumpet and he the bass line, we were perfect and played it without warning just about everywhere we went. I wonder what the crowd thought of two lone sousaphones belting out Louie, Louie... So much for no doodling in the stands between songs. :)
