It depends on what your priorities are. If you want an even sound throughout the registers and no stuffy notes, the Yamaha is the choice. However, I (and many others) think the Yamaha 621 lacks character. The sound of an Alexander is MUCH more interesting. But, is that sound worth all of the extra fighting with pitch and response? Tough call.
