Actually I don't think it is mainly a matter of chops as seen in the narrower sense of the embouchure.

It is more a matter of the the inner air-conduct before the air hits the lips. Shape of the airpath and speed of the air. And then of course the right imagination of the sound wanted to escape from the bell.

I have strong opinions on the mouthpieces, that I want to use for my self. Yet the right mouthpiece is a fully personal matter. And still no money can acquire anybody the right mouthpiece, if they don't want to invest themselves in thinking in the terms of the instrument in question, here the euphonium.

Tubists wanting to play the euph as a nice little aside instrument expose themselves to major disappointment..
