Could you imagine one of the Childs Brothers auditioning for the Marine Band, NOT gonna happen, even though I think that they are INCREDIBLE in every aspect. Personally, I like both English and American styles very much, therefore Steven Mead is my main man! English for his vibrato and style, American for his tone and warmth throughout the entire range. BUT, I think that all of this is changing very rapidly because we are hearing alot more recordings from everywhere around the world, and we are being exposed to a zillion styles. I know that everyday I practice and I listen to someone knew, my sound changes (euphonium). So who knows what'll happen.
