I have seen this horn on eBay, and with the current bid price it would be a very good value. $4K+ would be a fair price for this horn given the condition it appears to be in. I have played a Kalison D.S. (silver plated) for four years and find it to be a very nice horn for the price. The horn is very versatile and has a good scale, good tonality, and projects well. It may not be a Hirsbrunner, but you can get one for less than half the price.
