Sounding different in an audition

Hi
I have a casual audition next week. I have to play the Ride, Prokofiev Romeo and Juliet, The 2nd part from Alpine Symphony, Mahler 1(3rd Mvt) and Symphonie Fantasique. The thing is that I will be competing against two other players who have the same teacher as myself, and we are all using similar hardware(ie B&S 4-5/4 rotary CC and B&S F's, although I don't have an F, and may borrow a Yammaha 3/4 F). I don't want to turn up to the audition and merely meet the expectations my teacher(who is also the auditioner)has. I feel that if I do that then he may have already decided before the audition who will get the work, and the audition process will simply confirm his earlier opinions. My perception of him is that he likes to be 'blown away' rather than be bored by the audition. If you can offer any advice-feel free!
Thanks
Richard
