You can unscrew the top of the 5th valve rotor and then flip the inside of the valve so the valve is open(as if you were holding the valve down). Then screw the top back on. Essentially what you have done is reversed the way the valve works. So now when you hold down the 5th valve the slide is closed and you are back to CC, when not holding the valve down the slide is open thus lowering the pitch of the horn a flat whole step(BBb).

I own this horn and as a CC tuba it is great, but as a BBb even with the slides adjusted accordingly the intonation is not great. This is what prompted me to learn CC fingerings faster.
