The ideal mouthpiece is a function of both instrument and player. Otherwise, we'd only need one design.

Having said that, there are a few things I can say. The Yamaha 67C4 has quite a narrow backbore. The increased resistance this gives may make playing easier, but it can muffle your tone and affect intonation.
I used one of these a few days ago, and found that it made my pedal tones much harder.

The 12 is a fairly wide mouthpiece and the 24AW is fairly deep. Some think that you should use as large a mouthpiece as you can handle, and mouthpiece volume definitely affects tone.

If I had you use one of your mouthpieces, I'd pick the 12, but that doesn't mean it's right for you. If you're taking private lessons, ask your teacher for advice. Most
mouthpieces cost between $50 and $100, and it can be worthwhile to find and purchase
one that suits you.
