What crap. If you volunteer, do the job. If you cannot do the job,
do not volunteer, or resign, gracefully. To do nothing except whine for more help
(and only when pushed about poor performance) is grace-less at best.
To claim "eventually we get it done" is a sign of mediocrity
in even the most "politically correct" of organizations.
Tolerance of such mediocrity, and even the lemming-like funding of it,
is an embarrassment to clear-thinking musicians everywhere.
Shame on you Richard for trying to justify or explain away failure!
Obviously there is precious little time being donated by all these "busy" people,
otherwise the T.U.B.A. journal would not have (apparently) ceased publication.
