As a so called adult, I have found it a challenge to establish and maintain a *regular* practice schedule.I know how to practice, but suffer from a lack of a practise regime.

When I was younger (boo-hoo.Cue the violins) I relied on some natural talent(?), lots of playing oppourtunitys, and surroundings (musical house hold), instead of practicing more to *really* develope my skills. So who cares right? Well, I would have progressed much further, ealier on, and as well I would have developed a proper practice disipline that would serve me properly as an adult player.

If you are thinking of becoming a pro, learn the regime of regular practice early on.

One pointer to think about: The slower you go the faster you learn. The lump sum of little details, performed correctly, make a big difference in the end product (read music!) :)

Neil.
