If you are looking for a good CC horn, you might want to try a Miraphone 186-5U or a 188-5U. Not a lot of difference between the two, except the 188 is a little bit taller and has a bigger bell throat. This produces a bigger sound, at a more expensive price of course. But I just like Miraphone, as well do many other people, but there are a lot of good tubas out there. Rudy Meinl and Meinl-Weston are good also. I hear the Willson tuba has a great sound.
