I am a senior in high school, looking for my own tuba to take with me to college. I was exploring the site and was looking at the Professional Tuba and Euphonium Census and noticed that many more of the players listed had CC's instead of BBb. I have played on a BBb since I started playing 7 years ago and was originally looking for a BBb, but am now reconsidereing. Can someone tell me if there are any distinct advantages to a CC over a BBb, or what the differences are, besides having to learn new fingerings. Thanks a lot.
