It is great that you are so interested in brass playing at such a young age. Though, I think it is very important that eveyone has something big in thier life other than music. I have burned out a couple of times, and my playing lagged down because of it.
I am primarily a bass bone player. Four years ago I started playing tuba, and my teacher, Ed Kleinhammer, told me to learn one instrument first. I think it was good advice.
