I played the prototype in Germany. It's a big tuba, but plays very easily. It still plays like a German BBb...you can get that raspy sort of sound quickly. That's what is needed over there, though. It doesn't play like a 2165. It's more like a really big 25. Pitch and flexability were both good.
Martin at MW would be able to say more about this, but he may already be on his way to the big music show in Germany.
