Hey list,
I was wondering what causes pimples to form around the area where you set your moutpiece on your mouth when you play? I used to think that I was the only one with this problem but I found out that many teenagers face the same thing. Also, what could I do to prevent these things from forming?
All-states is coming up in a few days. This means extremely long hours of practice. Last year I developed two pimples during rehearsal and had to play with them pressed against the mouthpiece during the concert. Not fun. I'm hoping this year I can avoid this problem but I've already got three forming around my mouth. Please help.
