I play on an HB21, and am wondering if anyone can share what (if any) of the smaller PT mouthpieces they have success with on CC tubas. I am looking to add some "core" to my sound that I know I lack on the deeper cups. My choices currently are from these: 64, 65, 68, or 72. I also have an old M9, which I am guessing will be too shallow. I also have a Doug Elliot, and could probably purchase a similar cup to these PT sizes and interchange. Anyone have opinions on which of these might work well for the above mentioned purpose?
