If this happens to be a sociology class, one topic that I did an argumentative paper on is euthanasia. Everyone in my group at the time the topic was assigned, including myself, were all in favor of it. Since nobody was interested, my professor asked me if I would write my paper supporting the opposite viewpoint against it. I really didn't want to write a paper against something that I believed in and supported. However, I did so since she came to me for the request. We also had to stand up and debate our viewpoint against the other side at the duedate. After researching, I surprised myself to find that I definitely do not have a supportive viewpoint of euthanasia.

I know this has nothing to do with the tuba but one can make a strong argument with either side. It's just a suggestion. I gave a demonstration and informational speech for communications class on how to play the tuba.

Let us know what topic that you decide to write on.
