OK. So the metal is good and thick too but actually has a hole in as well as cracks. I'd guess it's around 1 or 2/8ths inch (!). Can a hole like this be Silver Soldered??
Assuming the repair man is of excellent quality, is this a 'safe' procedure to undertake??
