Thanks for the tips, guys. Sadly, my Getzen is at home and I am in Atlanta, so I won't ge tto experiment until this weekend.
Now a question for all you engineers (yes, I am at Tech but not for engineering), how will pushing the valve down off-center affect things? I learned in high school that directional forces are independent, but will having the extension make it harder not to push "at an angle"?
