Someone has mentioned the Conn 5j! And something good to boot!
I am an adult beginner, and have been playing for about a year. I bought a 5j for my first horn, and am enjoying it immensely. Unfortunately, I have have also become a Tubenet addict. No one ever mentions the 5j, apparently it is an annonymous horn. I can't speak to how good this horn is in comparison to others, being only a beginner, and having only played this one horn for my "career" to date, but I am having great fun with it, anyway!
