Thanks alot for that information. I actually have an old Boosey Imperial that sounds like the perfect horn for studying in England.
Could you describe the "British" way of brass playing (or just euphonium playing)? I've heard this term before but I'm not entirely sure if I really understand what it means. I have plenty of LSO recordings and they seem to demonstrate a different style of playing, but which recordings might give me a good concept of this style? Solo tuba or euphonium are both fine.
Also, who is Steve? Steven Mead?
