I recently bought a old alto horn that is in great shape except for the second valve piston, which has several deep scratches that prevent it from going into the casing. How should I go about getting these scratches out? It's not an amazing instrument, just something I play around with, so I don't care if it's perfect, I just want functional.
Anybody know a solution?
