I have had on and off problems similar to yours. Mine seem to come and go. I am hoping that it is in my case the fact that I have TMJ and some joint deterioration. I am in the process of having a mouthpiece made to wear while I sleep because I know I clinch my jaw at night. The times when I am having this problem are always while playing legato and very soft. I can feel the muscles really begin to feel fatigued at that point. I think in my case it could be a number of reasons but I don't think it is dystonia. Some times I find myself pressing too hard into the mouthpiece which also makes the problem worse.

You might sit back and take a look at your approach to the instrument. You may be putting youself under some physical stress that is causing it too.
