hello all,
It's me again but i have a question this time. I have spent the second semester of my first year in college debating whether i truly want engineering or not, or if i really just want to do music. My problem is that i know that for one, my parents do not want me do music because of the money issue plus their of the old mentality (they immigrated here, they were poor but now have much more) that i should hape a nice cozy job and have a family and all. I truly want a family but i also love music very much. My problem is that whenever i stop to think about music i wonder if i do, do music, then "will i be good enough to make it in an ensemble?", "will i end up doing something else cuz i couldn't cut it?", "can i raise a family with the money that i make from music?" I was wondering if any of you all out there could help me out and tell me what you were thinking when you were my age (18 soon 19). and advice you could give me,
