100% right on. I haven't read the posts refered to, but my experience with bags is negative. Not protection from hard knocks. Get a hard case. I put two 8" wheels on mine, made it like a handcart. Used HD with steel ball bearings. 1/2" bolt for axles, pillow blocks to hold wheels away from case. The bolts screw into threaded stock welded to 3/16" steel bolted to case. These have to be custom made to fit the angle you your particular case. Not too hard for someone who is skilled in metal work. (I'm not, but my friend is. I gave him my rough plan and he prefected it.) The wheels are easily removed if you are going to travel by air. Only disadvantage is that opening and closing the case is a little awkward because of the wheels, but upstair, downstairs, over rough ground is a piece of cake. No more dents.
