I believe it! I understand that the Macmillan was nearly the death of what was once a great company.
I thought that the front action horns were only made in the 3XJ series, without the short actions valves? Dan Oberloh has a 26J for sale that he said was a top action horn when I asked about it. I have never seen a front action, short stroke, 4 valve 2XJ, but would sure love to find one if it exists.
