So Joe, are you suggesting that if I were to want to engrave one of my silver horns, I'd have to strip the current plating, do the engraving, then replate the whole section so engraved? Is that how they do it on new horns with engraving, first engrave and then plate the horn? How does post production engraving look since it cuts all the way down to the brass? Is it noticeable if you don't subsequently replate the area? Just curious.
