Well, I finally did an experiment with my newly acquired CB50. I filled the baby up with helium and let 'er rip, to see the effects. The helium managed to raise the fundamental my a fifth. Yep, that's right, I turned my CB50 into an F horn for a the cost of a breath of helium-about 50 cents. I know this concept was discussed before, but I never heard anyone actually try it, so what else was i to do with a helium tank in my house? Once I take some Chemistry and physics at Ga Tech next year, I'll know why this works, but perhaps someone could work out the maximum helium would raise the pitch?

DISCLAIMER (for all the freaks who worry)-doing this to much can kill you. I got a headache, and I only inhaled a few times. Each time you do this is an extended period no oxygen goes to your brain. You can asphyxiate(sp?) VERY easily.
