Actually, I just started using a 32E recently, and was attracted to it by the depth of the sound even with such a small cup. I actually got a darker tone with it on my 2341 than any other mouthpiece that I've tried. I don't use it often because it's so uncomfortably small, but the tone is really good.
Doubler does make a good point, though: you need to just get used to a full sized mouthpiece eventually. The 32E would be a good starter for a BBb or CC horn. However, I do know some folks who use it on Eb horns on a regular basis.
