Being a champion of MW2000 tubas, your view of any possible used market price (one that might actually bring together a buyer and a seller) may be no more accurate (particularly when tweaked within only a $3000 or so range) than that of the potential buyer who opened this thread.
"Asking prices" are often quite different from "final selling prices" regarding most all types of merchandise, particularly when sellers are truly motivated to sell.
