Dale, I think you misunderstand my meaning. I've been quite clear that I'm REALLY unimpressed with myself musically. I frankly don't care WHAT the tuning standard is. If our friends in Old Europe will be happier with A=445 or 555, fine - I just think we need to pick SOME number to agree on.
Do I think the manufacturers are stupid? No. Do I think they could make a smarter decision on this one point? Yes. Could I be wrong? Of course.
On a final note, I have a great deal of respect for you. I disagree with you on this question, but I have yet to meet ANYONE I agree with about everything.
