Hi!
I played one of these at the VMI Factory last week. The horn is wonderful, but like you say there are pitch problems up high. But, help is on the way. They are making a new version with a smaller bell. I didn't get to play that one...it was in France. VMI does know of the problem, and they are in the process of correecting it.
