Let me say,I was truly overwelmed by the responses that I received regarding my questions about the merits of learning to play a CC tuba,after only playing a BBb for years.....I did not realize it would be so difficult to learn the CC.
Someone suggested that a Rudy Meinl BBb tuba may fit my needs..I looked at the website,and they are beautiful..but how much are they?..as a non pro,I can only justify so much....once again,who makes the best horn for the money?...I don't have $12,000 to spend..I'm only going to play two months in the summer,and maybe a couple of christmas concerts...Ok fellas..new or used?..thanks again in advance..
Oh by the way..Any ideas on how to get this past the wife?..I've already used "Honey,look what followed home,can I keep it"? too many times.
